Autumn

Polish trees, especially at the time when I visited the country (late September and early October), are special. From a vibrant yellow. It is the Polish golden autumn. We saw many trees on the road. We also know the ruins of the castle of King Casimir, a city with a square full of living statues. We take the first Polish coffee, Caffa.

O outono

As árvores polonesas, especialmente na época em que visitávamos o país (fim de setembro e início de outubro), são especiais. De um amarelo vibrante. É o outono dourado polonês. Vimos muitas delas na estrada. Conhecemos também as ruínas do castelo do rei Casimiro, cidade com uma praça cheia de estátuas vivas. Tomamos o primeiro café polonês, cáffa.

João Winiarski hasn’t seen the snow for ten years. His younger sister Francisca tried to cheer him up: she put a bit of snow in a small box in order to send it to his brother who lived in Brazil. The adventure didn’t work out – the snow turned water before arrive at the poczta – the Polish mail.
